I didn’t notice a meta community, so I chose this one.
Does beehaw happen to have a Matrix Space/room and if not, are there any plans for one? I’ve been distancing myself from Discord to eventually drop it entirely, but would still like to take part in the conversation going on in this instance.
I am in a similar boat as I don’t use Discord anymore, but Matrix is my main chat platform. When I was choosing instances one reason I chose Sopuli is because they have a Matrix room.
I’ll be looking for others to moderate this space other than the moderators of beehaw.org

I have no experience with the moderation features of Matrix yet and I’d need to test them out somehow, but I’d be willing to volunteer to clean up any possible spam and trolling.

we’ll call it a long term aspiration, but right now the core group of mods is already three people spreading their time over a lot of stuff, so it’s a practical and logistical consideration.
