I guess it depends on your point of view. I’m still indoctrinated by years and years of mainstream media warning about the Nazi buildup in Ukraine. When recent videos from this counter attack show children stand by the side of the road doing the Nazi salute to the Ukranian forces driving past, I’m not sure what to think.

On top of that, I’ve seen more and more videos of Ukranian soldiers refusing to fight due to what they call inhuman orders, fight from hopeless positions without proper equipment or support.

Considering the “allies” of Ukraine held a mini-summit on Rammstein on Thursday/Friday, I wonder if this is to gain and hold land, or to show willingness to expend soldiers and project force to request more material from NATO/“allies”.

On top of that, I’ve seen more and more videos of Ukranian soldiers refusing to fight due to what they call inhuman orders, fight from hopeless positions without proper equipment or support.

What kind of an order would that be?

To go to hopeless positions and fight without proper equipment and support.

Here’s an article from May that reports on the situation, https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/05/26/ukraine-frontline-russia-military-severodonetsk/

This is a war. Of course there’ll be such things. Sure it might be a sign of bad leadership but also it might be a sign of making important decisions, which sometimes sacrifices units for larger gains.

Definitely it depends.
On the other hand, have you seen all the nazi-like people and organisations from Russia? Or, have you seen e.g. people protesting with blank posters in Moscow and being taken by the police for it? Or have you listened to what Putin says about Ukraine? Or Kadyrov?

And, well, do you have some sources to back things that you’ve just written? Kids and nazi salute, soldiers refusing to fight, hopeless positions without proper equipment or support. Because I can say just the same, but related to Russian Federation. It’s a war, one country invaded another one which is defending, it’s even more understandable that the defending country may not be prepared for an attack, so I don’t see unprepared army as a big thing.

it’s astonishing just how quickly the northern front of this war has collapsed for russia. most of this was stuff they’ve been in control of since the early days of the war to the point where they have ostensible administrations set up; you’d think by now they’d also have it in a defensible position.
