What I’m most worried about in the US is just like how it was close to impossible to get abortion access in many states prior to roe/wade overturn, that something similar will happen with transgender healthcare and in red states they will allow people to refuse care much like the old fights over whether a baker could refuse to bake a cake for a gay wedding. I cannot imagine a situation which this doesn’t happen, unless we codify transgender healthcare into law, because anything that reaches the supreme court right now will not protect transgender rights.
