Hey I would like it if there was a way to collapse the “Subscribed to communities” list on the main lemmy screen when logged in.
This list is very long for me, since our server otherwise wouldn’t get all the interesting posts, it’s so long that the home website is ridiculously long and I have to scroll endless to reach the info about the server or the modlog at the bottom etc.
Any thoughts?

Agree. I’m currently using an uBlock filter to hide it :)

Creative. I will have to do the same, I presume.
And I absolutely agree. This would be a great QoL feature.

Is it really that hard to open a github issue?

Could be if you don’t agree in using GitHub :^)

I believe you can email an issue, but I’m not sure, may be mixing it with GitLab.

You can reply through email to an existent issue, but AFAIK you need an account both to create and to reply.

That sounds about it yeah, now that I think of it. I can only reply to issues by getting an email notification, which requires an account.

You’re right, I wanted to open it or post a suggestion in some meta community, but after setting up the filter I totally forgot about that box and ended up never doing it

Open up an issue for this on the lemmy ui github.
