I think there needs to be a /Leftist_Infighting community made where people can go and argue with each other, and then come back to their safe places to vent and be amongst people of the same mind? I feel like that would be useful.

Arguing basic premises all day long keeps discussion from actually going anywhere. Actual discussion flourishes among a group who can agree on the basics and actually want to talk about something more substantive than “is authority bad or is it actually good???”

Hi. I’m new here. But if I may be so bold as to dip my toe in here for a second… Do we want to have this community ruled by majority or by consensus?
This sub is one of the only few anar subs, and it’s surrounded by hostile people who hate us. that’s not a nice feeling to have on a leftist instance.
And there is a lot of room in rule n°4 to still disagree and have discussions, no straight banning if you don’t just wanna start a fight.
Depends on the community. Some communities are for debate, some aren’t.
