  • It’s so odd to me to think of genders, but non-bianry people makes a lot of sense to me. I don’t see the need to constantly go through out my day worrying that my appearance or behavior doesn’t align with some stereotype, and he/she/they are just words to me. Both trans and cis feel the need to constantly reaffirm their gender. Like a deep insecurity that they won’t be treated they way they’d like, but I really don’t think alpha males or whatever will grant you what you want. The real change is choosing to be who you want, not the label itself.

  • It’s really simple.

Sound is air vibrations at different strengths (volume) and frequencies (pitch). Taller waves are loud. Thinner waves are higher pitched. The math looks like this:

Volume * sin( Pitch * time)

Generally, low pitch sounds are louder and easier to see in a sound wave. A kick is really easy to spot. The rest of the weird janky movement of the sound wave is like a bunch of these equations added up to create the sound… generally.

The trick to understanding sound is that it’s a difference over time. The change in pressure is registered by your brain. A record player is literally just the physical transcription of this math and the speaker is just oscillating back and forth to reproduce the sound.

Okay maybe it’s not super simple, but I hope this helps.

  • I’ve heard an american nurse’s perspective who’s had to clean uncircumsized children. What I gather is thar americans are so generally unhygenic and neglectful that it’s extremely common for parents to bring in children for cleaning when things go wrong. She thinks circumscion is a medically sound option.

The american government thinks circumcision is a cost effective preventive measure, which makes sense if you’ve seen the price of healthcare. The rest of the world generally agrees that this practice isn’t super effective, and it’s primarily fueled by judaism and islam or aesthetic.

I’ll spare the horror stories and scary diagrams for my fellow man. I’m against circumcision. Have you seen what it looks lile after surgery and how much pain the baby is in? The diaper hurts them.

We don’t complain about having to clean baby girls. Not to mention the risk for irreversable damage that can reduce pleasure or be painful for life.

I think consenting individuals should participate in the anatomy of their body and not have that choice taken away by religious/lazy parents.

  • So what’s the deal with Glitch? Most people know about amazing digital circus (gooseworx). I’m just curious like if the vibe is good? Like if the channel owners won’t be revealed to be some sort of crazy expliotive people or weird crypto bros or something. Content quality seems too good for random youtube videos. I think the gaslight district might be the best indie production I’ve ever seen on youtube.

  • You seem interested in coding, why not try coding something simple yourself?

Actually, the first script for the app I did myself. It was a calculation taken out of excel. I made it with better decision-making and compliance to standards. It was simple, but I used AI to review and realized the gap between my speed and skill and the AI, which is where the dependence began. The codebase is well beyond 10,000 at this point, but it’s pretty close to done.

This was done in python, but I mostly dabble in engineering hobbies using C, my favorite being my QMK split keyboard. Again, lot of dependence, but in both cases, I’m learning way more than I ever did spending $40k at college. I should look up software engineering because it seems interesting.
