It’s a classic festbier. But I decided to do a decoction for a more toasty flavor. I used SafAle US-05 yeast because I want a clean finish and let the grain shine through.

It was a 12 pound grain bill, so I’m hoping it lands somewhere in the middle between a festbier and marzen.

Oktoberfest

Today I’m watching football and brewing beer. It’s going to be a damn good day

A friend of mine has a Clawhammer system that I’ve used a few times. His is a modular setup and honestly, the Vevor is more simple to use. When I first got the system, I ran a batch of just water with the intention of checking and calibrating the controller. It’s very easy to use with only a quick look at the instruction book and all the temps were dead on out of the box. The Clawhammer controller needed several hours of testing and calibrating. The one big advantage the Clawhammer has is a full mesh grain basket. The Vevor has a steel basket with a perforated bottom, which makes getting your efficiency a little more work.

I assume this is more about not having any control over shipping explosives than having the right to repair.

I’m not super confident in my week 4 picks.

I have four years left before I leave the workforce forever. I don’t know if I can make it.

Yeah, I milled it myself and maybe got a little carried away

Finding a juice that doesn’t have preservatives sounds like quite a challenge

Give us some details please. What was your method?

As current leader, just know that my condescending nature has intensified

Ohio State looked pretty good today, albeit against a lesser opponent. Hopefully, all the young guys got their nerves taken care of. They’ll need to be on point next week against Texas.

I’ll never understand simping a conference. I’m a Buckeye and my opinion of the rest of the B1G is, “fuck em”

I was born and raised in Ohio. So of course, I’m a Buckeye. We’re playing Ball State and I don’t expect too much trouble.

After my first two picks lost, I assumed I’m an idiot and stopped paying attention. I’m stunned I swept the remaining five.

HELP!

I’ve been possessed by a demon. The only way to exorcise it is to have women show me their vaginas. It’s a sacrifice I’m willing to take.

I don’t even need to drive. I could just hang out in Tokyo for a year.

As a Forza addict, I think I’ll be just fine.

The Supreme Court is going to be very busy changing their minds as soon as a Dem is voted in as president.
