It drives me insane when I talk to local people and they treat AI like a super intelligence instead of a word prediction T9word bot that ate every fanfic from Reddit and promises that it loves you.

In my experience with any undertaking like this, start with projects for friends and family to build reputation in the sphere of your choosing. It will help you figure out your market of people who can afford things and what your pricing vs your effort should be.

Plus lots of creative friends means lots of collaborations, it’s fun!

Unfortunately you can have all the experience in the world but you gotta have stuff in your field of choice to show new clients.

Get creating! Make some personal vids for you and your pals! Join a group you think is cool and become their tech rockstar!

I’ve been watching this happen in the US for over a decade, it’s cost me friends and family.

Connect with the people you care about and build genuine friendships and relationships. A lot of this thrives on everyone being isolated in their media and online spaces.

The only real way I’ve found to counter this polarization is education and community. A grifter can be spotted a mile away when you’re all looking out for each other’s well being with compassion and honesty and understand everyone’s limitations and needs.

At the end of it all, people are what matter most. You probably wouldn’t have any of the nice things in your life without them.

I’ve given up on any hope of support from our government for myself and friends and family who are struggling with various needs. It really feels like if I don’t do something the people I care about will just be left to rot. Worse is stuff like this where they go from neglected to persecuted for existing.

My opinion of Grey has soured over the last few years but I’m not sure I can articulate exactly why. I suspect it might just be myself changing over time but I’ve also heard they just started reuploading old vids to manipulate the algorithm.

The old videos are still good but I find myself scrutinizing of their points, thinking their integrity is compromised.

The ones who recommend it should demonstrate for the rest of us ‘skeptics.’

Like I have any money, anyway. Got $18 in change and living gig to gig watching everything burn and just trying to stay alive.

Computers and the Internet exposed me to a better world. Learning how to control my own tech means when something or someone oversteps, I can do something about it.

If something I’m using starts asking for captcha like this I’m removing the service from my ecosystem. Get fucked.
