I’m almost done with Another Crab’s Treasure. I think. I’m fighting an electric eel and after that I think it’s time for Roland, the guy set up as the final boss. There are these purple blocks all over the world that the game hasn’t let me do anything about yet so maybe there’s a victory lap where I revisit old locations before Roland? Not sure, but looking forward to finding out!

I’m pretty sure it’s DonaldJMusk having a conniption fit. He started downvoting me with several of his alts after I pointed out an ebook reader obsessed account was his. I don’t know what his fixaton with your mod or T00lshed is about though.

It’s such a small thing, but not having to explicitly instantiate embedded structs to specify embedded fields is going to clean up a lot of my DB code because we embed an Auditable structure to handle common fields like id, createdBy, etc. I’ve been looking forward to that for years! Generic functions are cool too I guess.

Numb3rs was one of my favorite shows. I’ve loved keeping up with his work since then. I hope he finds what he’s after.

TDTTOE goes way back! I first heard the phrase when I discovered Nethack. My favorite example from that game is when you try to dip a potion into itself you get: “This is a potion bottle, not a Klein bottle!”
