Every country not the USA should be embracing Linux regardless of trade disputes. A foreign company putting there proprietary software in your country’s government infrastructure always come with uncomfortable security realities, you can be held hostage in an ecosystem that may no longer match your goals quickly, it becomes financial handcuffs.
We’re also supposed to unite behind this failure of a PM in his war with Trump. I’m judging him exactly how he told me to judge him: by the prices at the grocery store.
As a Canadian, I don’t care to make Israel a reason to do or not do. If Canada was or is to join it should never have been a pet project of an elitest investment banker PM; Canada should join only if there was a significant grassroots push to join. Guess what, that never existed in Canada. It’s just too typical of a Liberal government in Canada to not do what it campaigned on and once elected do a bunch of crap like this it was never elected to do.
It was pretty clear the deal the feds agreed to was not acceptable to SOME provinces who were the ones who rejected it. The feds begged the provinces but they shut Carney’s crappy bad deal down. Just yesterday the feds were telling us it was the best deal, THEY WERE CHAMPIONING IT! Thank you to those Premiers for standing up to our weak and pathetic PM who is leading our country to ruin, but that’s fine for him as most of his wealth (over 90%) is invested in the USA. Carney’s family doesn’t even live in Canada.
Thats the liberal strategy : to put plenty of misinformation out there to compete with American misinformation. Make no mistakes as much as Trump cant be trusted, neither can Canadian Liberals.
The thing is Carney approved the deal and tried to sell it to provinces who rejected it, but now hes claiming he rejected it. So why beg premiers to accept it? Hes a liar, thats why.
