Removed Comment Man God cannot be killed for iirc the number is around a hundred years from the current point in the story. From Oldeus I think it was 40 years out. I'd love to say who he's working towards killing, since it's not even a spoiler in the source but episode 12 I didn't even spoil anything and my comment got deleted. I will say that Man God *will* go after his family, we saw what he just happened to do to Oldeus in order to accomplish his goals and Orsted, far as even the Man God knows is untouchable so it'd be crazy for him to attempt to kill Orsted as a (admittedly insanely strong) mage. by Traister101 ( Traister101@lemmy.today )

This'll eventually get explained but still ::: spoiler spoilers Man God exists in the "center" of the Mushoku Tensei world, someplace you cannot physically reach. That is to say Man God in effect exists in a separate non physical space from the world Rudy inhabits. Teleportation magic actually passes you through this space meaning that's the *same* white void. ::: Man God's only form of interaction with the world is looking at it, looking at the future, and talking to his apostles in their dreams. He isn't anywhere near all powerful, and to ::: spoiler spoil his drive is scared of being killed by Orsted who he's unable to see the future of. Man God can however see his own future, which is one where Orsted kills him. ::: Man God basically has a very advanced form of Rudy's eye of Foresight allowing him to look centuries into the future. Worth mentioning he's a huge manipulator. While he lied about everything "working out" if he didn't go to help Paul he was being truthful about Rudy getting with Linia and Pursena. Roxy *would* have survived but wouldn't ever meet Rudy again which is good since Man God doesn't want a child between Rudy and Roxy to exist by Traister101 ( Traister101@lemmy.today )

Removed Comment I cant answer your question, but i agree that the casual rape often shown in anime is a big issue. I get that its realistic, but man do the authors and studios do a shit job at integrating it into their stories. A really bad case of this was Tengoku Daimakyo / Heavenly Delusion where the main character got raped by one of their most trusted friends and while there was some degree of revenge they didnt even kill the fucker. The worst thing tho was that there was zero mention, discussion or anything of it afterwards. It was just just treated as if somebody slapped them and then everything moved on. And 5 minutes later their traveling companion decided to confess his love for them... So weird. by unexposedhazard ( unexposedhazard@discuss.tchncs.de )
