2 years ago	mod	Removed Comment Going against the grain, I know.. but a business owner has every right to fire whoever, even an entire department, even people on strike. It's a responsibility that the business owner has to own. Does his organization have the ability to continue operations if he fires 1-10-20 people who are strike? Or does he have to give in to the demands of those on strike in order to continue operating as expected? Sorry to say, but freedom trumps your feelings. Business owners have rights. Personally, I would rather close my business before I give into demands that are outrageous (I don't know why Elon's employees were on strike). Especially if my employees attempted a union.
