Removed Comment The CCP uses Marxist Leninist theory to justify hyper capitalism. The literature does actually state that capitalism is required as a pretense for communism so that surplus value can be redistributed. The CCP tells their population that _eventually_ they will switch to communism (I think Xi said 2050 is the new target), but the chances that will actually happen are slim. The difference between this and the USSR is that in China the elites who get rich off of the state owned corporations are in the CCP itself. The elections were more fixed than the upcoming 2026 US midterms lol The party elites had pretty much every luxury they could want. The logical leaps you people make to conserve your worldview. All of the Bolsheviks were terrified of the peasants, who were 80% of the country. The tens of revolts and miniature wars that happened were not from bourgeoise-aligned counterrevolutionaries, they were poor rural citizens that were being trodden on by the urban political class. Khrushchev and Brezhnev both at least understood that Stalin's tactics of domination weren't working, and was leaving them incredibly vulnerable to (more) famines and political upheaval, and tried to resolve it through economic programs, but it was too late by that point. > Marxism posits full collectivization across the entire global economy, which represents a true end to class distinctions globally.
