Removed Comment FYI there are doubts if this is really the case. Even a former party member, who is trans, questions this story. How the whole thing is written also sounds more like being frustrated in life in general, and this was just more like the last straw. Remember, there are always two sides of a medal. Don’t rely on factual observation from an affected party. Edit: just to be clear, being trans does not protect you from repercussions. Maybe she was a dickhead to the wrong people. Maybe the party members got hint of her trying to split the party. Maybe she intended to do criminal things. Removed Comment It really would, depending on how long you were male for. Higher upper body strength means you can move your weapon faster. Better hand eye coordination means that you can get it where you want it with greater precision. Combing those two traits, means that biologically male people have a much greater ability in sports like fencing, tennis, cricket etc.... Now if someone transitioned early enough, where the upper body strength hadn't kicked in so much, it would be dulled. But I'm not sure where the hand eye coordination sits. I know young boys are generally better with hand-eye type things like knitting and hitting a ball with a stick earlier than girls, but much of that can probably be overcome with training.... by absGeekNZ ( absGeekNZ@lemmy.nz )

Restored Comment You can deny reality, but reality is a constant. So is transgenderism (sounds like a religion lol, it's an existence not a belief), dwarfism, racism and human personality. Some people do ignore the real world, as in the collective existence we all live in, and instead beautify their personal world or world*view*, but in doing so they can unintentionally harm others. I've heard that in some parts of America being trans is considered a mental affliction rather than physical. I don't agree. A body can be changed, but a personality/who you are cannot be. TLDR: it makes clear the distinction between sex and gender, and wants official operations, including assignments of "intimate" spaces to be based on sex, not gender. His argument for this is that men have been attacking women by using their gender identity to access women's spaces. The extent of the issue was not mentioned.
