• As a linux user, one of the main things that set me on my current journey with changing mice has been getting away from my Deathadders that I’ve mained for nearly a decade now toward options with better physical buttons for switching options like you get from Zowie and Vaxee, no nonsense driver software to deal with. That said, this shape is very interesting…I love the real Deathadder shape, but I also love the EC2 (which I currently main the C series version of) and this feels like an attempt to try again at what the original Deathadder did: making a mouse in the EC / Intellimouse family that is easier to get a firm grasp on for hand sizes like mine, especially on the right side. I hope they keep making proper Deathadders, but I also think this shape might be for me.

I’m gonna have to pick one of the wired variant up when they’re released. No way I’m paying $150 for the disadvantage of having to worry about a battery. Razer has stepped their game up with quality control and catering more to the tastes of modern mouse nerds, but they still aren’t wizards and their mice will break down…my max is probably about half that price.
