Kayn ( @HKayn@dormi.zone ) 9•1 year agoNot a fan of clickbait.Edit: I was mistaken, my bad. I thought the article was referring to the admin deciding not to renew the queer.af domain, which was reported a few months ago.
Care to explain how this is clickbait?

nocturne ( @nokturne213@sopuli.xyz ) 3•1 year agoNot really. The Taliban took control of .af a while ago. It wasn’t them taking control that broke things, it was that they specifically targeted certain domains and took them down using control they had secured previously, with queer.af being a great example.
Lmaydev ( @Lmaydev@programming.dev ) 9•1 year agoThe title literally says exactly what happened though. You just added context that isn’t there. It doesn’t imply anything.
davel [he/him] ( @davel@lemmy.ml ) English8•1 year agoDo not use 2 letter country TLDs!
You say that as if every other TLD does not also have its own particularities. Do some basic research on a TLD before committing to it. For example, .cat is not for your cat pics.
