with a few exceptions west looking pretty bad btw. guess the remaining non-data countries are either as bad or good if they rely on hydro
uruguay interesting for relying mostly on wind just like North-East Brazil region, and chile on solar.

Quebec is 100% renewable due to hyrdroelectric, and manitoba is essentially the same though it’s not shown on the map. In my view, hydroelectric is the most sustainable long-term renewable. Many of those dams have been generating power day in, day out for decades. Some have been generating power for a century. Most importantly, it completely solves the problem. The electricity is generated for those areas, period.
