Lasagna ( @Lasagna@lemmy.ml ) English2•15 days agoBig fan of Mullvad. I think they accept crypto payments as well.
Used them for a while until moving over to ProtonVPN since it’s included in my subscription.
Lazycog ( @Lazycog@sopuli.xyz ) 2•21 days agoDidn’t know mullvad is Swedish, cool. Wonder how they compare to NordVPN? Not an expert and I felt like the rabbit hole got deeper and deeper trying to make a proper purchase decision before committing to a specific VPN…
Carrot ( @Carrot@lemmy.today ) 11•21 days agoI used NordVPN initially, switched over to Mullvad and haven’t switches back in 2+ years. It’s pretty much on par in terms of performance, and is more privacy focused than Nord
Lazycog ( @Lazycog@sopuli.xyz ) 2•21 days agoNoted! Mull has also been mentioned way more often in privacy focused communities I noticed.

I’ve always used Mullvad or Proton, no experience with Nordvpn
Lazycog ( @Lazycog@sopuli.xyz ) 2•21 days agoOkay so I’m getting quite good vibes from Mullvad (already had a good impression). Guess I’ll give it a buy especially now that I know it’s Swedish!
