Jomn ( @Jomn@jlai.lu ) 12•10 days agoI’ve not used liquid shampoo for about 3 years now.
I only use solid shampoo, which currently is the one from Fer à Cheval.
FundMECFS ( @FundMECFSResearch@lemmy.blahaj.zone ) 6•10 days agoStylé. Je connaisais pas mais ça à l’air bien plus écolo. Je vais acheter pour tenter.
Jomn ( @Jomn@jlai.lu ) 3•10 days agoEn tout cas, j’en suis très content :)
Obi ( @Obi@sopuli.xyz ) 5•10 days agoYeah same I’ve been on solid shampoo for like 8 years and it’s great, and no more plastic waste.
Fonzie! ( @lord_ryvan@ttrpg.network ) 3•10 days agoThis?
How do you use it, though? Like a soap bar?

Nangijala ( @Nangijala@feddit.dk ) 8•11 days agoShower gel: Original Source. We love the mint one in our household and have loved it for at least ten years. The brand is British and vegan too, for those who care. They have a lot of fun and wacky variants, but the mint one is still the best one.
For hair I will probably return to Elvital (L’Oreal Paris) when my last Herbal Essence bottle is empty.
As for face creams and other stuff like that, I use Neutral which is a Danish brand that is known for their neutral products that are suitable for people with allergies or people like me who would like to put less toxic shit on our skin.
macniel ( @DmMacniel@feddit.org ) 6•11 days agoWell not Pantene anymore I guess :)
But I use Guhl for my conditioner, which is european, right?turns out its not, its Kao (japanese). oakward ( @oakward@feddit.org ) 3•9 days agoGarnier, L’Oreal, Rituals
RobotToaster ( @RobotToaster@mander.xyz ) 3•11 days agoI use Nizoral, which I’m pretty sure is made in the UK.
ohulancutash ( @ohulancutash@feddit.uk ) English3•11 days agoMust we turn to OG Nazis to get away from modern fascists?
macniel ( @DmMacniel@feddit.org ) 12•11 days agoonce nazi always nazi, eh? Just let us germans rot then, jeez…
ohulancutash ( @ohulancutash@feddit.uk ) English3•11 days agoHenkel were extremely enthusiastic participants in the Third Reich. If the object of buying European is to dunk on Americans, then fine. But if it’s a matter of ethics, then those who actively participated in the Holocaust would seem to me to be poor substitutes.
napoleonsdumbcousin ( @napoleonsdumbcousin@feddit.org ) 12•11 days ago1945 was 80 years ago. None of the people working at any german company today were even born when the Holocaust happened. I don’t see how that topic is relevant when it comes to buying decisions today. Punish corporations for stuff that they actually can influence today, not for stuff that nobody alive is even responsible for.
MonkderVierte ( @MonkderVierte@lemmy.ml ) 3•10 days agoDer-med.
OfCourseNot ( @OfCourseNot@fedia.io ) 3•11 days agoMy hair likes some Garnier conditioners and masks. I thought Aussie was, well, Australian but it seems that’s part of pg so… And I’ve been using a solid shampoo that’s great but I threw the wrapper many months ago and I can’t remember the brand.
Adincar ( @Adincar@discuss.tchncs.de ) 4•10 days agoAs an Aussie I feel obligated to say I never had seen Aussie before until I was on holidays in Canada. I found it bloody hilarious.
ex_06 ( @ex_06@slrpnk.net ) 3•10 days agoI use Valquer because:
- it stopped my dandruff
- can buy in big quantities
late_night ( @late_night@sopuli.xyz ) 2•10 days agoFor dyed hair, Attitude makes a specific range of hair care products. They’re a small Dutch company
Sam A. ( @samsapti@feddit.dk ) 2•11 days agoThis is a body wash rather than a shampoo, but I use Wild, they’re based in the UK.
melsaskca ( @melsaskca@lemmy.ca ) English2•10 days agoI miss the cheap big gallon jugs of egg cream shampoo you could buy in the 70’s. /s
Actionschnils ( @Actionschnils@feddit.org ) 1•8 days agoLavera, an eco-brand from Hannover (Germany)
Lojcs ( @Lojcs@lemm.ee ) 1•11 days agoOof, haven’t checked prices recently but above names make my “expensive brand” sirens go off
WILSOOON ( @WILSOOON@programming.dev ) 1•10 days agoGod damn it, pantone is the only shampo that has really been able to tame my hair, and i litteraly bought a head and shoulders bottle 2 days ago.
