Sure. If there’s nothing that may come to light that would bar you from qualifying. Which I obviously can’t prove, but still get the niggling suspicion that _pp probably has at least one background item that would disqualify him from obtaining security clearance.

America put pressure to go harder against China and ignore the human rights abuses and fascist street politics happening in India.

It was always a terribly policy but if you rightly pointed out that if China was found to have done the things Indian govt did people would have been calling for a war. Would have said they are the biggest threat to our sovereignty etc etc.

Both of them have their respective problem, but it was clear there was fear/ unwillingness to critique India properly for the last few years.

Hopefully this will change because the break with America is happening now. Enough of this cowardice and going along with Washington’s insane policies.

Same reason why we do billions of dollars worth of trade with China.

I find it hilariously wild how western governments will criticize foreign countries like China and India yet freely conduct billions of dollars worth of trade with them without batting an eye.
