i have personal experience with one book on this list which is Leave the World Behind by Rumaan Alam. i personally was a big fan of it, but i can see why other people would bounce off it; that one is probably one you’ll either really vibe with or feel like you wasted your time on
it sounds interesting i may have to read it in the future im a sucker for books and generally media that give you clues to whats happening in the story and leave you to piece it together and this sounds like its doing just that
To me the epitome of “Quiet Apocalypse” is this manga series.
