Any lawyer who chooses to represent Trump absolutely deserves every headache they get.
When these lawyers were kids, did they listen when their parents said “don’t touch the stovetop, it will burn you!”, or did these people have to actually touch it themselves before they learned?
It’s no wonder he declined to represent him for the classified documents case. He was already tired of him and planning to depart completely. Their conversation must’ve went really well…

My guess is that Trump insisted that Trusty do some things that are completely illegal and would threaten Trusty’s law license - at the very least. Given the indictment contents, Trusty (finally) realized what a liability being Trump’s lawyer is and decided to get out ASAP.
Trump has always (at least since the 2020 election) had to rely on bottom of the barrel lawyers. From his inability to get a legal team together for the documents case, it sounds like even the bottom of the barrel lawyers are getting wise to the situation. The brief bit of fame from being “lawyer for Donald Trump” isn’t worth it if you can’t practice law anymore or, worse, wind up in prison!

I had the same thought. He probably realized that his career could be seriously in jeopardy if he keeps working for Trump, and these types are always motivated by money.

‘irreconcilable differences’ really sounds like lawyer speak for “He asked me to do something illegal and I refused”
Trump’s an irreconcilable dumbass.
