FrowingFostek ( @FrowingFostek@lemmy.fmhy.ml ) English10•2 years agoI hope we get a more left leaning president in America. Amazon needs a union and I simply can’t see Sleepy Joe transforming into Dark Brandon with a second term.
Rentlar ( @Rentlar@beehaw.org ) English3•2 years ago2nd term President Biden might morph into a Dianne Frankenstein by the end of it.
Chup ( @Chup@feddit.de ) English7•2 years agoTo give an insight how it looks outside of the US/in Europe:
Amazon does not (or cannot) tell the contractors what the drivers should wear or how the vehicles look. Usually it’s a plain white van, sometimes even a rental company logo on its side. The drivers just wear whatever they found in their closet.
So it’s way more visual that they are working for a contractor logistics company and not employed by Amazon.
LostCause ( @LostCause@kbin.social ) 5•2 years agoI insist Amazon doesn‘t really work for striking delivery drivers.
