Ok but why did bedsheet entanglement deaths double between 2000 and 2009? That seems extremely odd.

My guess is that they started noticing it more than before. Sort of like how autism rates skyrocketed once it became something people actually checked.

You can probably get a ton of these correlations because a lot of stuff just depends on population increase.
