Mental health is a very difficult issue.
I understand personal liberty is important and this policy will unlikely help solve the homelessness crisis. But I have also seen how people with mental health issue decided to not adhere to treatment because they think they are “fine”. And their refusal became a problem for people around.
Build more public housing, sure. But sometimes, sometimes, the doctor might be right.
