There’s still a lot of work to be done (seeing the wallabies spread further north and south every year is always worrying) but it’s so worth it! Been good seeing the anti-1080 crowd gradually falling into irrelevance over the past decade or so.
Always cool to see Rakiura shouted out, seeing a bunch of wild kiwi in the bush and feeding kākā from my motel room was an experience I’ll never forget!
