Look at the countries bordering Russia and count the number of invasions over the last 15 years.
Talk to Estonians, Latvians, Lithuanians.

1·2 months agoThe exciting work at exciting companies requires an excellent and proven skill set, and no German proficiency. But the larger pool of jobs lies in sysadmin jobs for SMEs and the public sector, you’ll need to speak sufficient German for that though.

11·2 months agoLots of research at German research institutes is financed by the German state and by the European Union. German research institutes hire Germans and other Europeans. It’s just misleading to describe research done in Europe as only “French” or "German or whatever because it’s very European too.
