minus-square RickyRigatoni ( @RickyRigatoni@lemmy.ml ) linkfedilinkEnglish9•2 years agoWorst case scenario Ghostwire Tokyo having Denuvo added was a test run for adding it to Starfield. But as long as no denuvo, we got no problem. 😎👍
minus-square Sharmat ( @Sharmat@beehaw.org ) linkfedilinkEnglish14•2 years agoUsually, Denuvo is mentioned in the EULA of the games, so going by this metric, it’s unlikely for it to have Denuvo since there’s no mention of it.
minus-square RickyRigatoni ( @RickyRigatoni@lemmy.ml ) linkfedilinkEnglish12•2 years agoYeah but I feel like Bethesda would be the kinds of people to to hide it until a day one update so they don’t have to disclose it to predorererererers.

minus-square Blue and Orange ( @DeathWearsANecktie@lemm.ee ) linkfedilinkEnglish13•edit-22 years agoI remember when I had to pre-order physical copies of games in case my local game store ran out of stock on the first day of a release. Pre-ordering in 2023 is a scam.

minus-square argv_minus_one ( @argv_minus_one@beehaw.org ) linkfedilinkEnglish7•edit-22 years agoI feel like Bethesda wouldn’t use Denuvo at all, because it would break a lot of mods, and Bethesda games rely heavily on mods to be fun. ETA: Also, Bethesda games tend to be appallingly slow even without Denuvo, let alone with it.
