• Starting today, start a habit of stretching your whole body once per day. Takes like 5 minutes, easy to squeeze in while your coffee is brewing. I started doing this a couple years ago and the difference is astounding. Even if the short-term benefit isn’t as dramatic for you, your 50-year-old self will thank you.

      • Adrienne knows what she’s doing! Although I will note that I was referring to just regular stretching, which I would describe as less intensive than yoga. If yoga works for you and you can do it daily, then great! But most of Adrienne’s routines are 10 minutes or more, and personally i struggle to complete something like that if i’m having a bad mental health day. A simple 5-minute stretching routine is easier on those days, so i’m more likely to do it.
