It’s time for our UK queens to read one another to filth! For the main challenge, they sing and dance to Drag Race’s first ever panto show, “Panto She Better Don’t—the Rusical.” For the runway, category is “Mirror, Mirror,” with guest judge Cush Jumbo.

I am fucking gutted about Banksie leaving. I really thought she was gonna go all the way. I’m still in shock tbh. That being said, I agree with the bottom two. I keep saying it but these queens are really good, and the bottom two did the worst in the challenge. Still, although I’m not familiar with the panto tradition, I enjoyed this rusical a lot. I would’ve picked Michael Marouli for the win, but I’m not mad about Ginger winning.

Also can we talk about the reading challenge?? Savage! I haven’t enjoyed a reading challenge this much in ages. Funny how the one unfunny queen is American.

    • We talked about it in the episode 4 thread. Banskie wasn’t my favorite but I agree, I was still very surprised to see her leave. I do agree she lost that lipsync, and I also feel she lacks charisma. She can be very endearing on certain occasions, but sometimes she gives me the feeling she’s shitting bricks, which makes me think she wasn’t ready to go all the way.

The Rusical was amazing. I also wasn’t familiar with Panto, and I love musicals! I immediately started looking up for pantos in my region, but I think there aren’t any (at least not with that name :( )

And yes! The reading challenge was brutally funny. I think I haven’t heard Ru laugh that hard on a reading challenge in a long time. The fact Caramelle was the unfunny one, and is the only American, is a good observation. I still think she’s getting the villein edit and every episode confirms it more.

Can we also talk about the runway of Tomara Thomas? That was shit… I honestly thought she was going directly to the bottom because of that. I mean, look at it!
