Has anyone read this book? What did you think of it?

I’ve been studying this book a lot recently and a few things have consistently come up:

  • Stay open.
  • Remove the parts of you that get unhappy/bothered.
  • Be unconditionally happy.
  • Deal with the stored Samskaras inside of you through conscious relaxing and releasing.

This has got me feeling very zen, though it’s also made me realise how many people are walking around with both sensitivities and damage inside that they are storing within them. It’s a perspective-changer for sure.

  • I’m a chronic overthinker; letting things go helps a lot for me too.

Things like chores that I would always avoid have now become a breeze, all because I’m remaining open and choosing to enjoy all the experiences of life rather than only a select few.

It’s amazing that it can have such a profound effect. I find the biggest challenge with this sort of thing is making it stick. For me there’s typically a sort of enthusiasm that fades. Nonetheless the book has given me a tool that I can pick up and use when I need it and it has served me well a few times.

Have you read anything similar before?
