The West Bank exists. Currently, there is a Palestinian executive under full control in the so-called A zones there. That could be considered as part of a internationally recognised Palestinian state, although very small in size.

Under Oslo, the B and C zones are also belonging to the Palestinians, but these are illegally contested by Israeli settlements and the fact that they are controlled by the Israeli military.

      • Yes, I am aware of the west bank.

My original point was about the likelihood of Palestine being destroyed shortly after being recognised by the UK government.

Do you share any of my concerns that Israel might be emboldened by achieving it’s explicit and implicit aims in Gaza which results in increased pressure on the West Bank?

Given the threats to the integrity of that space which is relevant to a sovereign nation which you mention, I think it’s reasonable to be concerned on that point.
