I heard from a teacher that instead of learning how to use scissors and how to throw and basics like that they instead focus on teaching small children math and second languages and so on. Apparently you end up with kids who are unable to do basic things.
I feel this also extends to adolescence when it comes to socializing. It’s not surprising to me that so many people don’t know how to make friends or how to properly show interest in someone.
It comes down to what dogma we choose to value and teach our kids. Anyway it’s just a feeling is all.
