I’m hard pressed to think of a good example. They’re either ad hominem, or making fun of a whole demographic, or just sad facts stated as a joke.

          From: 50 Best Political Jokes

          1. As a Russian citizen, I am confused about why it takes America so long to get a definitive result from their election—we know our results months in advance!

…like, that is fu… but then you think about it, and it’s no laughing matter.

Predominantly rural cultures tend to not have clever jokes, just dark observations of life made palatable (although this one is clever too).

Laughing in the face of death in particular. “Sad facts stated as a joke”. I am totally up for it.

70% of what’s wrong with out political climate is someone has to pump out garbage opinion pieces/cartoons/podcasts just because their has to be content to consume. Even the horse race pieces that are ostensibly “news” but really just framing of the race at a given time.

“Boss, there’s nothing new to make a carton about”

“Well Biden’s age and Trump’s court stuff are in the news name drop those. Oh and make it favorable to the one guy, because your peer is making one favorable to the other.”
