On a rainy day at the office I brought the board out and taught a friend. We can generally fit a full game into an hour. It’s totally worth it for the weird looks everyone gives us.

  • Went to the Go institute in Tokyo while on my honeymoon. Got to walk around a bit and go through the museum in the basement. Even got to sit in the title match room. It was awesome

    • I visited Kyoto before I knew how to play, and walked past a smoke-filled Go/shogi parlour. My dream is one day to go back there, find the oldest, crustiest player in the room, challenge them to a game, and get demolished.
