I just got an air fryer model on great discount (lower than msrp) not too long ago. Before that, I had an earlier instant pot that I used well beyond its lifespan, then gave it away to another person.
Hard to have continued profits if your product lasts. But I know which way I prefer that equation.
Yeah, its a shame that it’s the way the world goes. Kitchenaid does it well, they have their big ticket mixers and stands and then all the little knick knack crap you need on the side. Alfhough, I have heard the stand mixers are also falling prey to the modern issues of one time use items.
