minus-square NoneOfUrBusiness ( @NoneOfUrBusiness@kbin.social ) linkfedilink1•4 months ago Correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it mass and energy is equivalent no? Yes. And it also still baffles us as to why rest mass and resultant mass from energy should be equivalent at all? I don’t know about this one. I’m not an expert so don’t quote he on it, but I don’t remember hearing this before.

minus-square NoneOfUrBusiness ( @NoneOfUrBusiness@kbin.social ) linkfedilink2•4 months agoIt does, but that’s the thing: It does either way. There should be no change due to the conversion of energy to mass.

Yes.
