We have completely reimagined the entirety of the PC – from silicon to the operating system
This is the lie I will be focusing on. It’s pretty much gonna be fazing out some old Vista and 7 stuff, but largely you won’t be seeing any update to the actual OS besides renewed focus on PS and piping the telemetry system through Copilot+… that’s right, your PC will be a load balancer for Microsoft, because again: Copilot+ just means taking tracking to the highest level currently possible with technology.
Other than that, I bet it’s gonna be legacy code held together with duct tape and spit, with a nice UWP coat on top of it of course - as well as an update to DirectX and ofc shoehorning as many M$ services into the actual OS as possible, probably to the point where you can’t even remove certain AppX packages.
