I need the Eleanor Gemini skin emote yesterday. I’m glad Trinity and Nyx are getting looked at: Trinity because she’s kind of awful to play, Nyx because I thought she was already in a mostly good place and I’m eager to see what they do. “Light Rework” makes me think changes like the target cap on Psychic Bolts or changes to Mind Control (maybe have it work through Overguard?) or the energy consumption on Absorb.
December is going to be a long way away.
I’m also super excited to see what sort of Infested-themed weapons get updated. I had a bout of madness and went back and reviewed most of the old Bio Labs weapons, and there are some diamonds in the rough in there, notably Hema, Pox and Embolist. And of course an update to the Infested wing of the Entrati weapons, like Arum Spinosa and Sporothrix. Be interesting to see if they update some of the existing “secret boss” low-usage high-power weapons like Sporothrix and Catabolyst too.
@sandriver @HKayn I’m glad you said that I’ve never had the mental fortitude to play Trinity.
“Slow, full-body casts” and “extremely short duration buff juggler” is such a terrible combo. I also hope they fix Link having brief drop-outs when you kill your linked enemies. Maybe a buff to Champion Blessing to be easier to max, but I know that’s probably optimistic. She just needs to flow better.
Disregard 75% of her kit, run 13% duration, as much range as you can put on, then as much strength as you can put on, and give every ally on the map infinite energy. You can use the augment or quick thinking for survivability
My only real issues with Trinity are her low duration on her 1, 3 and 4, and her augments really need to be better, especially champion’s blessing which wasn’t really usable because of shield gating and is even less usable now with Overguard becoming more common. Energy Vampire Trinity still has its niche though, and is still probably my go to frame for the Index. Link isn’t bad either in Radiation sorties besides the very low duration.
