Not surprising in the least as a lot of people figured she’d be on her way out the door once D’Amore was canned (they are engaged for those not in the know). Expectations are that she ends up in Maple Leaf Pro but I could see her doing the indie rounds easily as well.
Yeah, while they’ve brought some people in since it still feels like they haven’t fully recovered since those departures. They can pretty easily elevate a few, but still need a few more people, I think.
I wish the best for Gisele. I hadn’t seen her before she showed up in TNA and really enjoyed when she played the first boss to beat when new people came in. I kinda thought this would be her year to become KO champ.
Honestly with the story switch from Diva > Knockout that she did with (iirc?) Gail Kim, it honestly seemed like she was being set up to do so.
That being said she also signed with TNA in early 2022 so her contract was probably coming due in 3 months time. Unless if she purposely didn’t wanna follow Scott to MLP a KO title run may have been out of the question since Grace is probably holding the belt till she leaves for WWE.
