I swear, Paramount must’ve hired all of the old Nickelodeon staff or something. What’s next, a Strange New Worlds and Sabrina: The Teenage Witch cross-over?
(I’d honestly prefer a Pete & Pete cross-over if that’s an option. Where they have to use Petunia as an intermediary for a race that only communicates through tattoos. That or Doug.)
I couldn’t stand Discovery at all. All of the crying and emotional break-downs ruined it for me. It felt like watching a high school drama where the whole being in space part was just a backdrop. (13 Reasons Why: In Space!)
SNW feels like it’s trying to do the opposite by being quirky and just taking it too far. A high school rom-com rather than a full blown drama, if you will. (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: With Aliens!)
As someone who’s been watching Trek for 40+ years. These new shows just don’t feel like Star Trek anymore. The franchise has been co-opted into… something else.

I liked the singing episode. I feel like SNW strikes a great balance of goofy and serious that I never saw in Disco.
