out of curiosity, why do folks gravitate to Obsidian over something like Notion? Obsidian always struck me as a bit intimidating.
Everything’s a text file on your computer.
It’s polished looking, and it has a lot of plugin support for TTRPG GMs.
@theangriestbird Obsidian is, at its core, a nice view onto and search engine for _text files_. That is very simple and straightforward.
Also it isn’t covered in attempts to upsell me. It doesn’t shove AI in my face. It is open source. It syncs with multiple cloud storage providers and all my data is under my control. It has all sorts of plugins so I can add complexity where and when I want it.
