Definitely easier said than done. I’m in the process of building an app for Lemmy and I’ve made a reddit app in the past and I can confirm the whole backend would need to be reworked along with most of the front end logic. I would love to have Apollo back, but since it doesn’t appear to be happening I’m building my own version. I don’t want to directly ripoff Apollo, but it does so many things so well that it’s beginning to feel more and more like a clone. If you’d like to be a part of it I created a community (c/lemmyapp) where you can find the TestFlight link and provide feedback in the form of bug reports and feature requests. It’s still in Alpha testing so there are a lot of bugs but if you’ve got some features that you’d like to see in a mobile app that aren’t available in others there’s a good chance I’ll add them in.
