Totally on board with you there. Just wrapped up my inaugural year in teaching and had to walk away. The admins just couldn’t stick to their word about how they’d handle student misconduct. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for our role, and it’s inevitably going to exacerbate the issue. I’ve sworn off returning to the profession until there are significant improvements. Until then, I’ll be putting my abilities to use in a different sector.
