Yeah, I can 100% see why it costs that much. All those cameras, high res screens, the crazy amount of electronics shoved in such a tight space, the R&D to make it all work together, etc. No way that’s cheap.
…But also, no one’s gonna drop that much on it. I don’t even want to spend the money on a PSVR2.
I get that this can be used for things other than gaming, but there’s no way I’d ever want this thing on my face that long. Sorry Apple. You did an amazing job and it’s just not going to sell that well.

I know several people ready to place an order as soon as it’s available, some of whom would just be buying it because it’s a shiny new toy.
There is a market for it, just not shared with Quest nor PSVR.
