My Trek SuperCommuter 7+ has gone from “Once a week 12mi bike commute to the office” pre-pandemic to “primary mode of transportation” since becoming full time WFH. My wife still has a car, since she has to go to the office, but I’m going to the grocery store & out for lunch regularly on my bike.
It pedal assists to 20mph, with about 30 miles of range at max assist, which is plenty to get me to several great lunch spots, cafes, and bars around me, plus the occasional programming professionals org events nearby.
