Like the title says, I’m looking to host my own blog but I’d like to participate in the fediverse. Another big requirement is a very portable data format, preferably markdown with a possibility of using GitHub. Am I looking for something that doesn’t exist?
Do you want to actually participate in the Fediverse, or do you just want to POSSE everywhere? Both are valid, clarification helpful.

Thanks for the suggestions. What does POSSE mean?
POSSE: Publish on Own Site, Syndicate Elsewhere.
Ah, yes. I think that makes more sense for me. I can publish on my terms and friends can consume on theirs. Ideally, I’d pull them all off FB and Instagram into a more personal network, but that’s a hard ask.
