The recent riots will have their own punishment. They threatened to take away housing benefits if any minors from a household were identified and boom…riots subsided. Also, the victim’s grandmother told them enough was enough.
France has a long history of calling environmental activitists terrorists, and in December there was a case about Signal and other encrypted chat being used for terrorism. I think this will build up to banning encrypted chat in France.
