• It’s about time. There is absolutely no way that such a groundbreaking app could exist without stealing trade secrets from Twitter. The mere concept of making words appear on a screen, and somehow transmitting them to large numbers of people, is virtually inconceivable.

    • The real tech breakthrough here is that they have somehow (I truly cannot even begin to fathom the technical details here, but that’s why I don’t work at Meta) managed to have these text posts organize themselves into some sort of hierarchical structure with other related text posts. This is going to revolutionize the internet.
