A bike is not a motorvehicle that requires a license and weighs 2-5k lbs. Are you going to give a ticket to a runner sprinting through a stop sign?

On the other side of the argument, if you give cyclists tickets, are you also going to allow them to ride in the middle of car lanes, allow them to use parking spots, and give them access to highways?
